Arlene Marquez

Tour Leader/Marine Biologist

Arlene has a passion for traveling she has visited many countries around the world. She enjoys working outdoors and has a deep interest and love for animals and exploring. Appropriately, she received her B.S. in Zoology with a focus in pre-veterinary medicine at Auburn University. In the summer when she is not working as a tour guide, Arlene is either exploring the Talkeetna Mountains or Denali National Park with her husband in their floatplane or you can find her bike riding with their dog, Gordo, down the Talkeetna Spur Road. Her hobbies include kayaking, swimming, hiking, and learning about different cultures. She plans on traveling and exploring for as long as she is able too. What is most interesting about Arlene is that she would rather be in the wilderness than in a city. Her outgoing personality will wear off on you! She is meticulous about being organized and wants every one to enjoy their stay in the beautiful Alaska! Arlene is fluent in Spanish.
