Our Nature Photo Adventure program caters to serious photographers and naturalists. These programs are all-inclusive; air transportation between Winnipeg and Churchill, hotel accommodations in Winnipeg and Churchill, all meals as well as a number of Tundra Buggy excursions to see the bears. Professional photographers or naturalists escort Specialist groups. A maximum amount of time is scheduled for optimum bear viewing.
A short town orientation will help acquaint visitors to Churchill and assist them in deciding what to do during unscheduled time.
Those interested in Specialist programs can choose between a hotel- or Tundra Buggy Lodge-based stay. If you stay on our Lodge, you will have the unique opportunity of 'sleeping with the bears.' Imagine the thrill of enjoying breakfast in the morning while watching a bear on his morning stroll, just outside your window!
Day 1: Arrive Winnipeg. Enjoy a welcome dinner with your guide. Overnight Winnipeg
Day 2: Early morning flight to Churchill. After a short Town Orientation, transfer to Buggy Launch and begin your exciting trip to the Tundra Buggy Lodge. Overnight Lodge
Day 3,4,5,6: Using the Lodge as a base for polar bear and other arctic wildlife observation, the Tundra Buggy will be available for full Day excursions on the tundra, away from the lodge. Guides will provide expert interpretation and photo tips. Enjoy evening presentations and socializing. Watch the night sky for Northern Lights.
Day 7: After breakfast, depart the lodge, arriving back at the Tundra Buggy Launch early, transfer to the airport. Morning air departure from Churchill. Enjoy your last group dinner in Winnipeg. Overnight Winnipeg.
Day 8: Depart Winnipeg at leisure.
