Glacier View is part of Matanuska-Sususitna country, one of the most magnificent and breathtaking areas of Alaska. Visit us and you will enjoy the wonderful hospitality and amenities Glacier View has to offer.
You will start your adventure with a brief safety orientation, then you will take an unforgettable three hour tour through the trails of Glacier View. Don’t worry because our experienced certified guides will lead the way! You will find many opportunities to admire the amazing views and take pictures of Alaska’s unique nature and beauty. Our staff works hard to ensure that you are protected during your tour, so have peace of mind knowing that you are safe. This is a perfect way to enjoy the Alaskan wilderness and wildlife.
Glacier View ATV/UTV Tour
What you need to know We pick up locally at most Anchorage area hotels. Departure times from Anchorage are at 7am or 9am based on tour availability at the time of booking.
What to wear For your safety, we provide helmets, goggles, and gloves. You will get dirty/muddy on this ride, so make sure to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Please bring appropriate foot wear. Sneakers/hiking boots are OK but closed toed shoes are a must. GoreTex/waterproof shoes are preferred but not required. Dress in layers. Bring a heavy coat; long sleeve shirts and pants are required. Bring rain gear (top & bottoms). Sun screen lotion, sunglasses and a change of clothes are optional.
What I need to bring Alaskan summers can be buggy at times so you'll need bug repellent. Bring a camera, heavy snacks and extra water. We provide light snacks.
Minimum Age Requirement Anyone driving an ATV must be 18 years or older. Minors under the age of 18 must have a parent or legal guardian sign a liability release and parent or guardian must accompany them on the tour. Underage drivers must have their parent or guardian ride with them in a side-by-side.
What else do I need to know Riding All Terrain vehicles (ATV) is bouncy, dirty, and often wet. Guests with serious neck, back, or joint injuries, or chronic heart problems should use their own discretion about their capabilities to safely participate in this activity. It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that anyone with who has had recent back, knee surgery not participate in this tour. Please keep in mind that this is a physical activity. Mobility requirements vary from day to day and trail to trail, but all courses require some mobility.
Do I need to be experienced to ride We will start the tour with an introduction to the machines so you'll feel comfortable operating them. Our machines are i easy to operate and you will be comfortable with them in just a few minutes. Riding terrain varies and can be smooth to rough at times. We are there to help you enjoy your ride. If you ever feel uncomfortable, let your guide know.
How safe is the ATV Tour ATV riding is safe, if done safely. You should always maintain your machine on the trail and follow the instructions of your guide.
Can I ride Instead of Driving? For this tour you have the choice of driving your own ATV; riding with a friend, or riding in a UTV with one of our guides that will drive you. We want you to be comfortable. Please let us know when you book wether you want to drive or ride.
Length of this Tour: Approximately 3 hours. Drive time from Anchorage is 2-hours each way.
Prices subject to change without notice. Please inquire at time of booking. Prices are per person, includes round-trip transportation from the Anchorage area. We do not stop for lunch. Please bring heavy snacks and water with you. This tour returns to the Anchorage area between 5 - 6pm. This activity is guided by our partner MICA Guides.
Departs Anchorage area at 7:00am - ATV Tour starts at 10:00am. You will return to Anchorage at around 5 - 6pm (May through September*)
2019 Glacier View ATV or UTV Tour
Tour Dates: Daily Departures at 7:00am from the Downtown Anchorage Area (MAY 15 - SEPTEMBER, 10)*
Tour Cost: $349/person. (Children 12 and under $269/person) Minimum Age to drive ATV is 16 years old. Please bring water & heavy snacks (this activity will carry over lunch) We return to Anchorage by 5pm.
A MasterCard or Visa is required to make your reservation online. Your card will be charged when you book your trip. We require at least 48 hours notice for cancellations otherwise a cancellation fee of 50% may be charged. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be eligible for a refund. Late arrivals that miss the departure will be considered a no-show. *ATV Tour start/end dates vary, please call us if you have questions.
